Elaine Cole

Elaine has been involved with the Inspire Learning Federation for almost a year and brings to the Trust her background and experience in Human Resources. 

She has worked for ExxonMobil for almost 20 years and during that time has provided HR services to all aspects of the business both in the UK and overseas.  She is currently the Manufacturing HR Manager responsible for all manufacturing locations in the UK.   She manages a team of 10 who provide HR services to around 2500 employees and contractors.  She has experience in all aspects of HR including Policy development, Compensation & Benefits Design, Employment Law, Industrial Relations and Recruitment.  She is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development.

 She started her career in teaching and spent 4 years in Education before studying for a Masters degree in Human Resources and joining ExxonMobil.   She has a particular interest in education not only because of her background and current role but also as a proud parent of an 11 and 12 year old.  She is very conscious of the challenges faced by today’s children and feels that a strong education gives children the best possible start in life.   She  joined the Trust to help the Trust grow and develop and deliver the best possible education for as many children as possible.  In addition to her role here, she has recently been elected to the Governing body at South Wilts Grammar School for Girls in Salisbury.
